Before Hong Kong and kids, there was London and Ernie (pictured here keeping a close eye on his beloved blue plastic pipe). We adopted him from the Dog's Trust as an adolescent, where he was originally known as Patch. He'd been returned to the shelter twice, which should have been a clue to us, but we were bowled over by the sheer force of his bouncy enthusiasiasm and big grinning face. It's fair to say he wasn't cut out for life as a city dog, so after a little while with us in London, he went to live in France with Mum and Dad. Aside from one unfortunate event with the neighbour's chickens, he mellowed almost overnight, and went on to have 12 more years of the best time any dog could ever hope for. I'm so sad to hear that he's gone today, but also very happy that this good boy ended up having the wonderfully happy life he deserved. ❤️
It has begun. #christmas

Home, sweet home.
Got my round in.
Neither miles nor inclement weather will keep us apart. ❤️
Just a few highlights from our first two daya in Osaka and Nara. As you can see, my kids have zero qualms when it comes to drawing a crowd. #exhibitionists
