… UK Mother’s Day, that is! So many ways to celebrate the wonder of parenthood – I favour a sneaky manicure (without your child!).
One of my recent faves was a spring-shade polish by new-to-HK French beauty brand, Caudalie.
Specialising in natural skincare and anti-ageing treatments, Caudalie’s cute Gough St store-cum-spa offers a full range of treatments, all with a natural twist.
Using eco-friendly French brand, Kure Bazaar, who boast stunning, contemporary colours made using wood pulp, wheat, cotton, corn and… err… potato derivatives, (yes, really!), Caudalie’s talented manicurist had me soaked, filed and buffed to perfection in well under an hour. Kure Bazaar boast some rock-n-roll shades without chemical nasties such as formaldehyde and phthalates busing your cool, and my no-longer-ragged talons were topped off with a glossy coral (Coquette) and gold (Or Pur) polish that lasted for a record-breaking four days without a chip – amazing for someone who regularly uses her nails as a Swiss Army Knife-substitute!
If you’re in Central, in a hurry, and in need of a natural pampering treat that will have you feeling less mumsy and more marvellous, skip down to Caudalie for a trés chic mani, tout suite!
Happy Mother’s Day!
This manicure was by invitation from the lovely peeps at Caudalie – thank you!
